Spanksgiving is a three-day adult educational seminar and play party held at a premier hotel that is exclusive to the event. This is our 18th year!
~ Guest rooms at the Event Hotel feature well-appointed contemporary furniture, Ultra-Comfort™ beds, LCD television with Premium Cable channels, free high-speed Internet access (both wired & WiFi), iron & ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, AM/FM clock radio, daily maid service, room service and much more. Many rooms also have microwave ovens & refrigerators. Also available is a well-equipped exercise room, an indoor heated swimming pool, full service restaurant and a full service tavern/bar . The expansive attached Conference Center provides over 10,000 square feet of luxury event space.
~ Lodging is also available at several other major hotels within a 1 mile radius of the Event Hotel & Convention Center.
~ Full-service catering for the exquisite Friday & Saturday mid-night buffets is meticulously prepared and served by an award-winning chef and his very dedicated banquet staff. The hotel Café & Tavern, located adjacent to the main lobby, serves a wide variety of standard American cuisine menu items and offers a self service open buffet bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Local restaurants, all within a 5 minute drive, include Italian, Greek, Sushi, American, Thai, Southern Grill, Chinese, and Seafood as well as many casual restaurants, coffee shops, deli-style cafes and ‘Fast Food’ choices.
~ For out-of-town attendees making travel arrangements, please be advised that the first round of classes begins at 4:30PM on Friday. Classes and activities are scheduled all day on Saturday and will continue through Sunday until about 4:30PM. Please allow at least 45 minutes travel time to and from the airport.
